Amber & Smoke is what happens when BR540 decides to grow a mustache and light a pipe. It opens with saffron, lemon zest, and orange blossom for that familiar airy sweetness, but don’t get too comfortable — about five minutes in, the real personality shows up. Warm amber resins, jasmine, and tobacco leaves roll in, followed by a stunning smoky dry-down of pipe smoke, sugared moss, and pine woods. The tobacco is clean, subtly sweet, and slightly smoky, while green, earthy notes keep everything grounded and confidently masculine. (Ladies going for a femme fatale fragrance will like this one, too.) Slightly familiar but fearless, this one takes a well-known vibe and makes it bold, smoky, and unmistakably its own.
