Hugo Deep Red has a deep, dark, sexy energy that feels bold and a bit edgy, with nothing cute or juvenile about it. It opens with juicy blood orange and black currant, giving it a sweet, vibrant burst right away, along with a noticeable hit of ginger that adds a warm spicy kick. For the first hour it feels especially fruity and luscious, almost syrupy in a very intentional way. As it develops, the sweetness softens and vanilla and sandalwood start to take over, bringing a warmer, smoother base. In the dry down, it becomes more musky and slightly resinous with a hint of floral from tuberose, balancing the spicy vanilla and woods. The overall effect is warm, juicy, and vintage in feel, but still very wearable and well blended.
